We are pleased to invite you to the 13th national policy conference of the Cuban American National Council, Inc. to be held in New York City from May 4th to May 5th of 2006. Over the past three decades, CNC has earned a reputation as a leader in research on Cuban Americans and Hispanics, and has been a major provider of direct services to over 100,000 individuals of many races and ethnic groups. From its inception CNC has helped build bridges among different communities in the U.S. The CNC national conference plays an important role as a networking opportunity and as a forum where relevant policy issues are discussed. Our biennial conference draws Hispanic leaders, policy makers, direct service providers, advocates, and corporate leaders from all over the United States for discussion, analysis, and agenda setting on critical issues affecting our community. This year’s conference “Hispanics in the Business World” will assess the impact of Hispanics business in the U.S. and the growing role of Hispanic leaders in corporate America and the economy. The conference will address the following topical areas:
Nationally recognized leaders from the public and private sectors will speak or be present at the conference’s luncheons, and plenary sessions. The conference will close with an awards banquet honoring distinguished Hispanic leaders from across the United States. The Cuban American National Council’s conference is an excellent opportunity to gain visibility in the Cuban American and national Hispanic community. The CNC is a nationally recognized non-profit, non-political organization, and an active partner with public and private sector institutions, and many national Hispanic coalitions. For more information about the CNC Biennial Conference, we invite you to look through the attached conference agenda, or visit our web site at www.cnc.org or call (305) 642-3484, ext. 104.
