Latina Early Childhood Center (LEC)

 

CNC’s Latina Early Childhood Center (LEC) operates day care and pre-kinder programs serving infants and toddlers of teen mothers enrolled in CNC Schools, and other community residents.The center has a Florida Gold Seal Accreditation and a trained bilingual staff offering children both loving care and a healthy physical and emotional environment.   The mission is to provide a place of loving care and learning that will allow a healthy physical and emotional development.

 

 

 

The center’s general objectives are:  

• To facilitate the development of visual and auditory skills, and tactile kinetics discrimination that will set the atmosphere for being “ready to learn”.

 

• To promote feelings of happiness and security as students become familiar with the environment and the world around them.

 

• To develop creative expression through art and music.

 

• To help develop good habits and attitudes.

 

• To help develop a sense of personal identity and self worth.
