CODEC Inc. is a CNC-related organization and a leading non-profit community development corporation (CDC).  It provides affordable housing for moderate-income families, and the low-income elderly.  CODEC is one of the largest non-profit minority CDC developer of “202” projects in the U.S.  In 22 years it has developed over $210 Million in private housing projects in Miami Dade County.  By 2004, CODEC had built and managed fourteen (14) U.S. HUD Section 202 buildings for low-income elderly and had three other funded projects in pre-construction stages totaling 300 new apartments.  It has also built and sold 150 condominium units to moderate-income families who are owners today.
