CreditSmart Español Program

CreditSmart was developed to help consumers obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage their money and to positively impact their credit.  This knowledge is intended to expand personal finance opportunities, including homeownership.  

The CreditSmart Español curriculum provides seminar participants with an overview of credit and credit management, including segments on Your Credit and Why it is Important, Goal Setting, Managing Your Money, Establishing and Maintaining Your Credit, Thinking Like a Lender, Understanding Your Credit Score, Restoring Your Credit, Avoiding Credit Traps, Planning for Your Future, Banking Services, and  The Road to Home Ownership.
