Latin American Studies Program

CNC’s Latin American Studies Program (LASP), originated from a partnership between the Council and the United States Military Academy at West Point.  Through the LASP, cadets from West Point spend three weeks in Miami, Florida, Ecuador, Argentina and other countries, learning about various Hispanic cultures and societies.  They also practice the Spanish language, and contribute to local communities by mentoring students and serving as role models for other youth.
