National Policy Conference
The CNC’s National Conference, held every two (2) years, serves as a source of information on issues affecting Cuban Americans and the Hispanic communities. It provides an important forum to bring together national and local leaders and take advantage of their experiences, observations and recommendations on public and social policy.
CNC Health, Safety &Wellness Fair
This pioneering event is organized in Miami-Dade County with a focus on educating communities about the connection between nutrition, fitness, certain chronic diseases and death tolls. The CNC Children & Families Health Fair / Feria de la Salud Infantil y Familiar has been created to serve the needs of immigrants in Miami-Dade where the Hispanics are the most under insured ethnic community.
The fair focuses on the dangers of obesity and brings attention to best practices programs available to inner city neighborhoods. The fair provides free health screenings/exams, literature, health & nutrition presentations and other educational materials.
